We, anthropologists at Copenhagen University, pledge that we will: - Only order vegetarian (with vegan options) and mostly organic food and beverages for social and academic events - Ban the use of plastic bottled water and small portions of butter, jam, milk, cheese and other food to minimize disposable packaging - Ban the use of disposable plates, cutlery, glasses and cups - Prefer travelling by train/bus to destinations that can be reached within 9 hours (including Oslo, Stockholm, Uppsala, and Berlin) - Organize a working group aiming at reducing energy consumption, improving waste sorting, organizing a sharing platform among anthropologists, allowing for the rental of electric cars, asking for responsible electronic waste management, making a handbook on how to consume more sustainably
